Timer Relay Calculator

How long should the timer relay operate?

Select hours, minutes and seconds. The required jumper, coarse and fine setting positions are shown automatically.

Quick examples

How should intermediate positions be set?

If the red trimpot mark is between two numbers, use a small flat screwdriver to align it approximately with the position shown. Then measure the duration in the actual circuit and correct the fine setting.

How does a timer relay work?

Timer Relay – User Adjustable

It switches the output on as soon as it is triggered and starts timing. It switches the output off when the set time expires; the setting determines how long the output remains on.

Stop Timer Relay – User Adjustable

It supplies the output while the trigger is present. When the trigger is removed, it keeps the output on for the set duration and then switches it off.

Range, coarse and fine settings

First fit the black jumper in the displayed range position. Then use a small flat screwdriver to turn the red coarse and fine trimpots to the positions shown. Use the intermediate position when the mark is between two numbers.
