How does a timer relay work?

Timer Relay – User Adjustable

It switches the output on as soon as it is triggered and starts timing. It switches the output off when the set time expires; the setting determines how long the output remains on.

Stop Timer Relay – User Adjustable

It supplies the output while the trigger is present. When the trigger is removed, it keeps the output on for the set duration and then switches it off.

Range, coarse and fine settings

The jumper selects the operating range. The coarse setting determines the main part of the duration and the fine setting provides the remaining small correction.
